Malik studied Art and Design in South Africa. He majored in textile printing and graphic processes. He was awarded the highest marks in the country on graduating. After leaving school, he ventured into fashion design and was commissioned to do murals around the country. His passion for art grew to include music production and working to empower young people through music.
Malik moved to the UK in 2014 and has now settled in Brighton. He is currently enjoying exploring the form of pyrography, alongside his long standing relationship with painting and printing. His focus is on portraits and the human form, whilst currently captivated by capturing current events.
Malik is enjoying doing a range of commissions at the moment from wedding photos, children's portraits and restaurant signs. Get in touch to discuss a project.
